The golfers are off on a dewy morning in North Carolina. Rory McIlroy is off to the early lead along with Charl Schwartzel. Rory’s swing isn’t as sharp as he would like, but everything else is making up for it. Phil Mickelson is tied for second.

Quail Hollow is playing tough today and it will only be tougher as the week progresses. If no rain hits the course, and it’s not supposed to, we’re looking at rock hard greens that will be some of the fastest the players have faced all year long. With the course undoubtably getting faster and firmer as the week progresses, the score at the end of the day tomorrow may be the winning score. It’s going to be a fun weekend!
